I grew up in Helena and graduated from Helena High in 1995. I moved to Missoula in 1998 to go to school and pursue a degree in Music Education. I was involved in every musical opportunity I could find throughout my college career but still needed to find a part time job at least a few evenings a week. I started as a dishwasher at the Missoula store in 2001, but quickly moved to cooking. I became a manager 3 years later and finally took over as the General Manager in 2008.
I now live in Missoula with my wife and 2 dogs. We enjoy going to Griz games in the fall and traveling whenever we have the time. If someone were to describe my personality I’m sure “hardworking” and “fun” would be the first words used. That’s the way I try and make Jaker’s atmosphere, we serve great food, work hard, but always have a good time. So please, come join us and feel free to say, “hi” if you see me at Jaker’s, I’m always there!
